Gems
Throughout your adventure, you will come across gems, such as rubies, diamonds, emeralds, etc., that are not used for crafting.
In fact, these gems can be set into certain items, tools, armors, etc.
These gems increase and offer bonus statistics to the items in which they are set; however, you will need a socket for this!
Look at the following example:
This message in the item description indicates that it has a gem slot. However, as you may have noticed, it is a socket for a yellow gem!
So, we will need a yellow gem.
This example gem, as you see, is a Yellow Gem, so it must go into a yellow socket. Once set, it will increase weapon damage by 10%. Not bad!
To set the two together, it’s as easy as you see. Just click and drag onto an item that has the appropriate socket!
And there you go! You can now enjoy your enhanced armor!
