Elly Heiwa, known as the Inventor, the Mad Scientist, Ylle, or the Emissary of the Void, is a player embodied by Elly_Heiwa. He is also the Game Master of the Athena Adventure server.
He first arrived in the third version of Athena Adventure and is largely responsible for the server taking on a Semi-RP aspect. He disappeared from the normal play in version three to focus on the evolution of mechanics and lore.
Elly Heiwa resembles a human with brown eyes and mid-length brown hair. He wears a red jacket similar to that of a naval admiral, adorned with golden decorations, under which is a cream-colored striped shirt with blue stripes. He also wears gray jeans with a belt and leather shoes, along with a red cape that echoes his jacket.
After his first major interaction with the void, the left side of his face and his eye began to absorb void energy, turning a dark, strange violet hue. His legs also began to be covered with the same mysterious energy from then on.
In version V.4, the infection seems to have spread further, particularly to his right arm and right eye.
When Elly is not himself and is controlled by the other, he is nicknamed Ylle by the inhabitants of Athena. He appears to be completely controlled by the Void, and his body reflects this, being entirely dark violet with energetic protrusions all over his body. His head is adorned with two massive horns, and his left eye features a protrusion resembling an advanced scope, likely created by Elly himself.
He wields a large bow called Nihil that appears to be made of the same material as his body during these battles.
Little is known about Elly Heiwa and his family. From gathered information, it seems he was born in the imperial capital and descends from a matriarchal family of which he is the last heir. He entered the Imperial Academy of Science and Technology (IAST) at a very young age and quickly became a prodigy there.
His family, according to the notes found, was always persecuted by worshippers of deities because of a large birthmark on his back that looked like an eye. It also seems that the family was linked to the void, without further information.
Following a declaration of heresy against his entire family, they were executed, and Elly was exiled to the region of Athena. Spared because of his knowledge and skills, he has since harbored a huge grudge against the gods.
Upon arriving in the region of Athena, Elly immediately began constructing highly advanced laboratories that greatly facilitated the lives of the local inhabitants, sharing with them the designs of such devices. Despite an apparent withdrawal from regional life, he remained amiable to everyone, aiding both sides without judgment.
However, it is now known that during all this time, Elly was probing the region for ways to bring back the Empress of the Void. He was exposed during the appearance of the Monoliths by Cardinal Black Eduardo. However, his plan was ultimately accomplished when, after numerous manipulations following his “exile,” he anonymously convinced the Alliance between the worshippers of Solis and Obscura to unlock the Sanctuary of the same name.
Elly continued to appear numerous times in the form of Ylle, a kind of malevolent alter-ego he considered to be seeking to assimilate him. However, Elly undertook a plan to do the opposite, thereby having to assist the region.

Elly is proficient in many fields, particularly engineering, sciences, and technology. He has created numerous weapons and is responsible for many advanced laboratories beyond what current general knowledge allows.
Moreover, he is relatively poor at fighting and, due to the affection he holds for his former comrades, he is not able to fight them effectively. This likely led to the Empress of the Void implementing Ylle within him, a means for someone to take care of his enemies efficiently.
Ylle is the malevolent version of Elly according to everyone. A kind of opposite who takes control when Elly is outside his laboratories.
Ylle is highly skilled in combat, using a bow to channel void energy into withering arrows, wormholes, etc… He is unanimously considered a very great danger. And unfortunately, he is not as compassionate as Elly towards his former comrades.
Elly has created many objects, a list of which can be found below. These elements have often had a very important narrative impact on the players of Athena.
Laboratory X-09 is a large underground laboratory powered by an enhanced steam machine. Laboratory X-09 is the only thing that remained after the destruction of the Heiwa Manor in Athena. It has been greatly used by other residents, and Elly has always appreciated this.
It consists of several floors.

Reactor X-10 is a massive assembly located deep under Elly’s former home. Very well concealed, the area is covered with lead blocks to protect the outside from possible radiation.
The reactor closely resembles a nuclear reactor but has the capabilities of a Tokamak reactor. It produces very little radiation and has been used by players numerous times as a means to fuse elements normally impossible to merge.
The Tabula Rasa Project is a still unknown machine that Elly created with the goal of annihilating the Athena region. Although technically, it worked, the Empress of the Void demanded that, instead of completely annihilating it, she reshape it by giving power to the Void. This created the region known in V.4 of Athena Adventure.
The Mima Relays are a creation parallel to the Tabula Rasa Project. They are special pylons creating a shield preventing the effects of the Tabula Rasa Project within a certain perimeter. Created by Elly under the order of the Empress of the Void. The plans were scattered not by Elly, but by something else. Thanks to them, the capital among other things survived.
Elly has created many highly advanced firearms. These weapons, if mass-produced, could provide a perfect military advantage to many countries, including the capital. The plans are, however, secret and are extremely rare and valuable tools.
Elly is also responsible for the creation of many artillery devices including steam tanks, anti-aircraft guns, and other war machines. They are powered by the energy of the Void in liquid form.
